Life by the Sea by Maggie (dictated)

At the port, we caught a big crab!  Then, I saw a pelican.  He was big.  Mommy took a picture.  He flew away.  Then, I took a picture of the dolphin.  She is made of wood.  The dolphin is cute!  Then, I took a picture of the whale.   I saw eight heads.  They are made of wood.  I also saw a turtle.  After, we went to the art supply store.  I got a lot of things.  Then, I saw the Crab Shack.  I want to go in there.  Mom said, "No."  Then, I went to the lighthouse.  It is big.  I got up on the stairs.  It was not open.  I went to the beach.  I threw a rock.  The waves splashed on me.  I'm okay.  I threw another rock.  The waves splashed all the way on the sand!  Then, I went to the hotel with my family.
